Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact- Lead and coordinate daily shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, and loading.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of shipping associates.
- Ensure on-time and accurate shipment of products to meet customer requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance throughout the shipping department.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Partner with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to streamline operations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics operations.
- 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
- Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
