Business R&D Senior Professional positions offered by Hitachi Energy USA Inc. (Jefferson City, Missouri). Support development, implementation, training, and long-term support of new optimization systems for distribution transformers. Build .Net based applications. Create and update product architecture. Create POC on new technologies and new architecture. Create and maintain InstallShield packages. Set and maintain SQL database environments. Implement new features and conduct bug fixing and code refactoring. Define and implement infrastructure and habits of Code review and Code Quality Assurance. Work in an Agile multinational team.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Must have 8 years of experience in each of the following: Programming in VB.NET, C#, and .NET; Packaging software in InstallShield; Programming for Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Unit tests; Preparing SQL data and schema updates; Communicating with key users and domain experts of design systems to provide support and implement software fixes; and, Preparing deployment packages and supporting IT staff. Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Performing electrical design for transformers. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Position reports to Jefferson City, MO office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
