- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems.
- Experience with monitoring and control technologies such as SCADA, EMS, or substation automation; implementing and evaluating early-stage control concepts; power system simulation platforms; transmission or distribution control room operations; techno-economic optimization; microservice architecture and utility communication protocols; Energy Market operations; or microgrids and active distribution systems.
- Experience in power systems research and development.
- Deep understanding of power system dynamics and associated control mechanisms.
- Fluency in common programming languages such as Python or C .
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
