How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead and support a team of buyers responsible for plant purchasing activities.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Review purchasing contracts and purchase orders to ensure policy compliance.
- Manage procurement processes for materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Partner with Planning and Inventory teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve supplier concerns and support effective vendor management.
- Evaluate bids, supplier proposals, and sourcing strategies.
- Monitor market trends, purchasing performance, and departmental budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading purchasing, procurement, or supply chain activities.
- Knowledge of supplier management, sourcing, and contract administration.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
