Summary Of Position
The Instrument Operator A is responsible for working under minimal supervision, from drawings and specification sheets, to perform electrical assembly, inspect and process units, fabricate and install lead supports, fabricate and install accessories and components, join leads and buss bars, assembly and install bushings as required; should have general knowledge of clearance and insulation requirements for various voltage classifications. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Product assembly to specifications
Operating processing equipment
Processing and oil-filling products
Troubleshooting and repair of products
Cleaning and preparing products for test and shipping
Gathering parts for product assembly
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Additional Skills Required
Strong work ethic
Excellent attendance and quality of work record
Able to read a tape measure
Working understanding of math
General knowledge of electrical clearances
Assembly skills and able to work with tools
