Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, ironing, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying appropriate maintenance techniques to preserve flooring quality.
• Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed rigorously to promote a healthy environment; use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests promptly, maintaining professionalism, and creating a positive experience.
• Manage janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating team efforts for larger projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients or guests.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling during cleaning routines.
• Experience with laundry operations and managing household or hotel housekeeping duties is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; certification in hotel housekeeping management or related fields is a plus.
