- This role is for the lead analyst for the adoption of the strategic Enterprise Product Taxonomy in Risk. The role resides in the Risk Chief Data Office (Risk FCDO). The Enterprise Product Taxonomy Analyst role will facilitate the detailed impact analysis and planning required to adopt the new strategic product taxonomy (hierarchy) in full partnership with the ECDO, ICG, PBWM, other Global Functions as well as Technology.
This role will drive the analysis required for the adoption of the evolving product hierarchy capabilities.
Enterprise Product Taxonomy (EPT) is a core process used to manage, organize and categorize the Firm's traded products according to business rules. This will enable consistent use across Citi eliminating mismatches of aggregated data and reporting in general.
Responsibilities: - Support the Enterprise Product Taxonomy adoption plan for Risk
- Conduct impact analysis workshops across Risk Category SME's to ensure high quality assessment of the scale of change required in systems and processes within Risk
- Work closely with Risk Category SME's to drive and implement EPT within their area
- Adopt tools to establish and monitor Enterprise Product Taxonomy (EPT) adoption across Risk
- Close collaboration with data governance and data stewards for adoption of policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise product data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
- Support the resolution of issues through to root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices
- Engage, influence and collaborate with senior business stakeholders for prioritization of the adoption roadmap
- Develop and build strong working partnerships and strategic relationships with key partners across businesses and technology to align implementation and operational strategies
Qualifications: - Expertise in Master Data Management and, ideally, Citi's current Product heirarchies
- Proven experience in analysing complex data management solutions from requirements through design and implementation
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Financial services acumen & or experience to influence cross functional initiatives
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to accurately determine length and difficulty of tasks and projects
- Ability to absorb strategic thinking; must be able to look towards the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; can easily pose future scenarios; can think globally; and can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through direct and matrix reporting lines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to bring clarity to challenging problems and to help others engage in and embrace a solution.
- Able to leverage strong business acumen to effectively interact with senior leaders and a broad variety of stakeholders.

Education:
Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred; managerial experience
