The PBWMT Chief Operating Office is a dynamic team of leaders who provide executive and operational support to the PBWMT CIO (Chief Information Officer), focused on alignment with technology strategy. We enable a consistent strategic lens across PBWMT, responding to the evolution of the technology industry and innovations shaping the future of financial services.

Overview of the Role:

Citi's PBWM Technology (PBWMT) organization serves the PBWM global suite of products providing a full range of innovative and comprehensive set of services. Our businesses also offer industry-leading advanced technology, a strong worldwide presence, and a powerful global franchise.

The PBWM Technology Planning and Analysis role is a senior-level position reporting to the Head of Planning and Analysis, supporting the Chief Operating Officer. This position has an incredibly unique vantage point at the intersection of business and technology. In this role, you will influence others and build programs that deliver great outcomes. Responsibilities Include:

• Own the development, management and strategic direction of programs created within the Planning and Analysis Team. Including but not limited to:
  • PBWM Technology Field Duty: An initiative to ensure PBWMT is consistently putting our technology teams in the field with front line advocates to better understand and see first-hand their experience, learn their pain points, and resolve those pain points.
  • PBWMT Patent Pipeline: A strategic program to streamline the process of collecting, evaluation, and filing of patent worthy innovations for engineers within PBWMT.
• Own end-to-end execution of programs from problem identification through requirements definition and solution implementation. Drive progress and associated activities across the organization to achieve strategic objectives.
• Partner across PBWM Technology to bring disparate teams together by collaborating with others in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
• Provide central coordination of all business office functions for the Chief Operating Officer, through managing operating rhythm, executive reporting, and key organization-wide initiatives.
• Ability to apply and coach the principles of operational excellence, development of problem statements and action plans, as well as value stream mapping, project planning and systematic problem solving.
• Assist with coordination of communications with Executive Sponsors and offices within PBWMT.
• Drive operational reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
• Communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to create key management presentations for various audiences. Ability to develop the storyline to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner, with clear graphics to convey key messages.
• Excellent relationship management and consulting skills with proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, execute with limited information and ambiguity.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments with a sense of urgency
• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Experience with cross-functional / business delivery, ideally with large data-intensive program management experience
• Exposure to multiple business units to understand the linkages and dependencies.
• Experienced in project management with excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills
• Capable of driving initiatives within businesses, functions, and across the enterprise. Ability to concisely communicate strategic insights and updates with executive stakeholders.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with a strong visual design background
• Excellent executive level storytelling skills and storytelling through data
• Experience in Design Software including Photoshop and InDesign

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
