Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to get a detailed understanding of requirements, Understand the Current Mainframe Architecture and design target system architecture, Breakdown the new system into components, Come up with the Project plan etc
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years as a Mainframe developer with proven experience in designing, developing and supporting high volume transactional n tier enterprise components applications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Mainframe COBOL application development CICS application programming Mainframe Z OS JCL Strong exposure to VSAM and DB2
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Easytrieve Eztrieve, File Manager, MQueue and or zOS Connect tools
- Associate's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CA-7 job scheduler and version control tools like Endevor and ChangeMan
- Prior experience in Mainframe modernization
- Exposure to tools like IDz & Topaz
- Exposure to Mainframe Devops
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
