Hirzel Law is hiring a Legal Secretary to support litigation matters involving real estate, condominium, and HOA law. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with attorneys to keep cases moving, meet deadlines, and keep clients informed. We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and brings a high level of organization and attention to detail. You do not need HOA experience to succeed here. What matters most is strong communication, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

What You Will Do
- Support attorneys with litigation matters involving real estate, condominium, and HOA law, with training provided to build your skills over time
- Prepare and format basic legal documents, correspondence, and court filings with attention to detail and accuracy
- Manage calendars and track deadlines to help ensure filings, hearings, and tasks stay on schedule
- Assist with client communication, scheduling, and coordination of hearings and meetings
- Maintain organized case files and systems while learning to anticipate needs and support the team effectively

- High level of organization and attention to detail, especially when managing deadlines and multiple tasks

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or legal support role preferred, with an interest in litigation
- Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office 365 and willingness to learn legal software systems
- Ability to manage and update multiple systems, documents, and tracking tools with accuracy and consistency
- Experience handling administrative workflows such as mail processing, document management, or similar high-volume office responsibilities
- Ability to follow structured processes and handle high-volume, repeatable tasks with speed and accuracy
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $20-$22/hour depending on experience
- Quarterly bonus tied to firm performance
- 401 (k) with firm match (4% on 5%)
- 15 PTO days per year and 10 firm-wide paid holidays annually

- 1 day per week remote after being fully trained
- Parental leave of 8 weeks paid & 4 weeks unpaid
