Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Services Manager with 14 years of experience to lead and oversee enterprise network operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure while managing teams, vendors, and ongoing network initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of network operations including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security
- Manage daily operations such as incident management, problem resolution, and service availability
- Act as escalation point for critical network and infrastructure issues
- Coordinate and prioritize workload across network and security teams
- Support initiatives such as SD-WAN implementation, network monitoring tools, and security integrations
- Oversee vendor relationships and network service contracts
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in change management processes and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, telecom, and security
- Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadership
- Maintain network architecture and operational documentation
- Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning
Qualifications:
- 14 years of overall IT experience, including network operations and infrastructure
- 7 years of leadership/management experience managing technical teams
- Strong experience with enterprise networking (WAN/LAN, wireless, SD-WAN)
- Experience with network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, AppDynamics)
- Knowledge of network security technologies (NGFW, identity services, secure workload)
- Experience managing vendors and service providers
- Familiarity with change management and IT service management processes
- Preferred: Experience with Cisco VoIP solutions and 24x7 network environments
