Your expertise will be crucial in performing radiographic procedures that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries, all while ensuring a safe and efficient experience for our patients.What You'll Do:Perform Specialized Procedures: Conduct both routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures with precision.Patient Interaction: Use your tact and courtesy to explain procedures to patients, easing their anxieties and ensuring cooperation.Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for imaging, adjusting immobilization devices for optimal views.Equipment Operation: Set exposure factors and operate imaging equipment to produce detailed, accurate images.Mobile Imaging: Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms.Assist Radiologists: Support radiologists during fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations.Image Processing: Prepare and process images for review, ensuring quality control and proper identification.Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.Safety First: Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff.Documentation: Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of your work.Training: Help orient new staff and train students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.Additional Duties: Be ready to take on other related responsibilities as needed.What We’re Looking For:Basic Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Licenses & Certifications:Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California)Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California)Certified Radiologic Technologist - Fluoroscopy Certificate (California)Basic Life Support CertificationAdditional Requirements:California Mammography Certificate (if required for the position).Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence.Strong communication skills for effective presentations in small group settings.Willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.Adherence to the Radiologic Technologist Career Ladder Agreement.Why Join Us?We offer a supportive environment where you can grow your career and enhance your skills.
