What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding Engineer - Python(Stealth) position at HireTo by Kuvaka?
Founding Engineer – Build the Future of AI-Powered Supply Chains
San Francisco, CA (on-site)
$160K–$225K 1–2% equity
2–5 years experience
No visa sponsorship available
About The Role
We’re looking for obsessive, fast-moving builders to join as founding engineers and help take our product from early traction to full enterprise scale — from pilot customers to tens of millions in automated transactions every month.
You’ll ship code fast, own ambitious projects end-to-end, and work on some of the hardest problems in real-world automation:
Why It Matters
The global supply chain moves trillions of dollars of goods every year — but most of it still runs on paper, email, and software built in the ’90s. That inefficiency drives waste, squeezes margins, and raises costs for everyone who eats.
We’re fixing that.
We’re rebuilding how supply chains operate from the ground up — powered by AI agents that don’t just sit on top of outdated systems, but run the business.
This is a chance to reimagine how a $9T industry works and build something that truly moves the world forward.
What You’ll Do
Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, JavaScript, React, Next.js, WebSockets, SQL, AWS/GCP/Azure, LangChain, LlamaIndex
Why You’ll Love It Here
You’ll join a small, world-class team at the very beginning.
You’ll build things that touch the real world — not just the internet.
And you’ll help redefine how AI runs one of humanity’s oldest and most important systems.
This is 0 → 1. And then 1 → ∞.

You’ll ship code fast, own ambitious projects end-to-end, and work on some of the hardest problems in real-world automation:
- LLM orchestration pipelines that run business operations
- Real-time integrations into dusty, legacy ERPs
- Intelligent workflow automation that actually saves people hours every day
- User-facing tools used daily in warehouses, offices, and factories

- Architect and scale systems that handle real-time, high-stakes data
- Work directly with customers and see your code in action
- Integrate modern AI stacks with ancient enterprise software
- Help define engineering culture, best practices, and technical direction
- 2–5 years of professional engineering experience
- You’ve been part of a hypergrowth startup (Seed → Series B) and know what speed feels like
- You love shipping — and you care deeply about the craft
- You thrive on ownership, autonomy, and solving real problems
- You’re excited to work on-site with a small team of elite builders
- You want your code to matter — to move markets, not just pixels
