What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position at Hireteq Solutions Inc.?
CA license - ASCP or HEW required.
Shift: 4x 10hrs days shift with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, blood bank, and immunology
Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and validity
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
Follow quality control and quality assurance protocols
Prepare and process patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)
Maintain detailed and accurate records of test results and procedures
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control, and laboratory policies
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide diagnostic support
Participate in proficiency testing and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Train and mentor laboratory assistants or new staff as needed
