Equipment Operator I

Job Summary

Our client, a leading distribution and supply chain company, is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator for their Plainfield, IN facility. This role supports daily warehouse operations and requires hands-on experience with multiple types of industrial equipment.

Contract Details

• Duration: Approximately 6 months (1,040 total hours)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)
• Location: Plainfield, IN (on-site)
• Travel: None required
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform daily warehouse tasks including picking, staging, and material movement
• Flex across multiple warehouse functions based on operational demands and coverage needs
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
• Adhere to all workplace safety policies and procedures
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating Cherry Picker, Swing Reach, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift
• Resume must clearly reflect relevant industrial equipment experience (resumes without this may not be considered)
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards
• Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment
• Forklift certification(s)
• Experience working in flexible, cross-functional warehouse roles
