What You'll Do
- Perform topographic, construction, and land surveys for utility infrastructure projects.
- Operate GPS survey equipment, laser scanners, Trimble equipment, and data collectors.
- Travel to project sites and independently conduct field survey activities.
- Collect and document accurate survey data.
- Coordinate with survey teams and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with field safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of land surveying experience (10 years preferred).
- Experience with GPS surveying equipment.
- Hands-on experience using laser scanners.
- Proficiency with Trimble survey equipment and data collectors.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Ability to work independently in field environments.
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
- Utility, transmission, distribution, gas, substation, or infrastructure surveying experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Trimble surveying technology.
