Senior Color Specialist - Basketball Footwear

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Color Specialist to help drive seasonal color direction and storytelling for basketball footwear. This role will partner closely with design, materials, and product teams to create compelling color concepts that connect with athletes and consumers. The ideal candidate combines strong color expertise, footwear knowledge, and the ability to translate trends and insights into impactful product stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute seasonal color direction for basketball footwear collections.
- Develop compelling color narratives that align with consumer insights, cultural trends, and brand vision.
- Create and refine color palettes, specifications, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Product, Materials, and Development.
- Visualize and communicate color concepts through digital tools and storytelling.
- Present color strategies and concepts to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive timelines.
- Contribute to innovative approaches that elevate product expression and consumer impact.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Color Design, Color Development, CMF, Footwear Design, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of textiles, materials, and color application.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Miro, CLO 3D, and Vizcom.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
