Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (Cloud Technology)
Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Possible Extension/ FTE
Role Overview:
We are hiring a Sr. Software Engineer (Cloud Technology) to support and enhance cloud-based applications within the Product Technology team. This role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud-native development, microservices, and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud applications and microservices
- Build and enhance front-end components using React
- Work with Azure services including AKS and Blob Storage
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
- Ensure security, authentication, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
Top Skills Required:
- Python 3.8 development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Azure (AKS, Blob Storage)
- Solid SQL and database knowledge
Additional / Preferred Skills:
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs
- React front-end development
- Docker, Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git
- OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
- Data Engineering and Analytics (Preferred)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
- 3 years of professional software development experience
