Responsibilities
- Own and manage accounting processes and special projects from planning through delivery.
- Analyze accounting and operational issues and develop effective solutions.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and help transition accounting functions into a centralized environment.
- Support system implementations and process changes.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Provide guidance and support on complex accounting matters.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI-driven efficiencies.
- Train and mentor junior accounting team members when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
- Experience working in Accounting Operations, Finance Operations, AP, AR, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to independently manage projects and end-to-end processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process improvement and KPI development experience.
- Experience coaching or mentoring team members.
- Exposure to automation, system implementations, or AI-enabled process improvements.
