Project Manager (Engineering)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Project Controls Analyst to support multiple projects by managing work orders, purchase orders, budgets, reporting, and project documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, remain on schedule, and stay within budget.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting engineering or project teams, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage Work Orders (WOs) and Purchase Orders (POs) within SAP
• Track project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance
• Assist Project Managers with project coordination, reporting, and administrative support
• Monitor project schedules and help ensure project milestones are achieved
• Gather, analyze, and maintain project data, documentation, and records
• Coordinate weekly and monthly cost and schedule updates with project teams
• Support project forecasting and budget reviews
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project status updates for stakeholders
• Facilitate document management and maintain project-related data repositories
• Respond to information requests and support project research activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support project execution
• Ensure project activities comply with established project management standards and processes
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, engineering support, or project management
• Experience using SAP for work order and purchase order management
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience tracking budgets, schedules, and project deliverables
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SharePoint
• Familiarity with Google Earth
• Experience supporting engineering, utility, construction, or infrastructure projects
• Exposure to project tracking, forecasting, and cost management processes
