This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate client entitlements, timely issue resolution, and high‐quality client service while supporting operational controls and process improvement initiatives.
This is a hybrid role with an initial 6‐month contract and the potential for extension.

A leading financial services organization is seeking an Operations Specialist – Corporate Actions (Income) to support the global processing, balancing, and reconciliation of custody positions related to dividend and interest income. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate client entitlements, timely issue resolution, and high‐quality client service while supporting operational controls and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Collect and process global client dividend and interest income payments
- Verify payment information by validating advice received from local markets against client receivables
- Identify, repair, and resolve discrepancies impacting client income entitlements
- Determine when issues can be resolved internally versus escalated to sub‐custodians or depositories
- Escalate complex or high‐risk issues to management as appropriate
- Communicate professionally and constructively to resolve issues while minimizing risk and exposure
- Generate custody and operations system reports to support daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting
- Track and analyze trends in payment repairs at the event, sub‐custodian, and market levels
- Follow up on open items to ensure timely and accurate resolution while keeping clients informed
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including enhancements to straight‐through processing (STP)
- Support activities related to measuring and maintaining client service standards
- Develop an understanding of broader division goals and how individual responsibilities impact the firm
- Effectively utilize internal systems to support client servicing deliverables
- Collaborate within a team environment to meet deadlines in a high‐pressure setting
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Experience in operations, custody, corporate actions, or financial services processing
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to identify, analyze, escalate, and resolve issues independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure

- General internet and systems navigation proficiency
