Role:: Materials Designer 3
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Supporting Leading Global Sportswear & Footwear Brand
Are you passionate about material innovation, storytelling, consumer trends, and creating products that inspire athletes and consumers worldwide?
We are looking for a talented Materials Designer 3 to join a dynamic Sportswear Footwear team focused on Men's and Women's footwear franchises. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of footwear through innovative material concepts, trend-driven design, and compelling consumer storytelling.
What You'll Do:
✔ Design and develop innovative material concepts for footwear products
✔ Research consumer trends, cultural influences, and market insights
✔ Create compelling material stories and narratives
✔ Collaborate with cross-functional product creation teams
✔ Drive material innovation from concept through execution
✔ Present design concepts and material strategies to stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
✅ 5 years of Materials Design experience
✅ Experience within Footwear, Apparel, Textiles, or Consumer Goods
✅ Strong understanding of materials, trends, and consumer insights
✅ Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
✅ Portfolio showcasing design process, material innovation, and project ownership
