Job Title: Designer II – Running Apparel
Location: Beaverton, OR (Not open to relocation)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (26 weeks from start date)
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Designer II – Running Apparel with a strong interest in performance apparel and a deep understanding of design processes. This role supports the apparel design team in executing both physical and digital assets within the running category.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience designing and developing performance apparel
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in design or related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training)
- Strong understanding of Client design philosophy and performance product
Must Have Skills
- Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings
- Strong Photoshop & Illustrator skills
- Experience supporting design with day-to-day tasks
- Experience with board building (samples, swatches, trims)
- Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
Nice to Have Skills
- Ability to update line art (hybrid technical creative role)
- Experience in technical apparel design
- Experience with AI tools and Vizcom

Previous Industry Experience
- Prior experience with similar clients/industry preferred
Portfolio Requirement
- Must have an apparel design-focused portfolio
- Should demonstrate:
- Strong design aesthetic and creative voice
- Technical apparel drawings
Key Responsibilities
- Support apparel design team on daily projects in the running category
- Update line art and designs based on feedback, fittings, and reviews
- Iterate design options using Illustrator and Vizcom
- Update keynote presentations with accurate design representation
- Conduct design research (inspiration, construction, mood imagery)
- Assist in updating family files and collaborate with color partners
- Build and maintain physical boards with accurate materials and trims
- Ensure strong organization and clear communication
