We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of complex AV systems integration projects. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, vendors, and field technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle for AV installations, including design coordination, procurement, scheduling, installation oversight, commissioning, and client handoff
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with design engineers, programmers, CAD specialists, and field teams to ensure technical requirements are met
- Conduct site surveys, review architectural and electrical drawings, and resolve installation challenges
- Manage vendor relationships and subcontractor performance
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues proactively
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes, and client specifications
- Support post-installation training, documentation, and punch-list resolution
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience in the professional AV or systems integration industry
- Strong understanding of AV systems including video walls, control systems, audio reinforcement, conferencing, and digital signage
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in commercial or institutional environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret construction and technical drawings
Preferred Qualifications
- CTS or CTS-P certification (or equivalent)
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, Biamp, or similar control and DSP platforms
- PMP or equivalent project management credential
