Title: AI Developer

Pay: $65 - $75/hr

Location: Phoenix, AZ

About the Role

Architect and build the private AI and search infrastructure behind a next-generation cybersecurity intelligence platform, owning the model layer end to end. This means designing and deploying a private, Azure-hosted large language model on open-weight architectures like Llama or Mistral-class models, with tenant-level data control, network isolation, and governance built in from the start.

The real work is not calling a model. It is making one fast, secure, and cost-efficient at enterprise scale, and turning messy cybersecurity and threat-intelligence problems into AI workflows that hold up in production. This is a seat for someone who wants to own the AI core of a platform and has the depth to build it right.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy a private, Azure-hosted LLM using open-weight architectures with tenant-level data control, network isolation, and governance.
• Build scalable RAG pipelines and semantic and vector search integrations using Azure AI Search or equivalent.
• Build graph-backed intelligence layers and secure multi-tenant data orchestration within Azure.
• Fine-tune and optimize open-weight LLMs for performance, accuracy, and cost.
• Own GPU-based model deployment on AKS or Azure ML, including model performance tuning.
• Design and build API-first microservices architecture.
• Translate complex cybersecurity and threat-intelligence use cases into high-performance AI workflows.
• Maintain enterprise-grade security, cost efficiency, and operational scalability across the AI platform.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience fine-tuning and optimizing open-weight LLMs (Llama, Mistral-class, or similar).
• Strong experience with GPU-based model deployment on AKS or Azure ML.
• Proven experience building RAG pipelines and semantic or vector search integrations.
• Solid background in API-first microservices architecture.
• Experience with secure multi-tenant data orchestration and network isolation in Azure.
• Ability to translate complex domain problems, ideally in cybersecurity or threat intelligence, into production AI workflows.
• Strong focus on enterprise-grade security, cost efficiency, and scalability.
