Department: Sales & Operations
Reports to: Regional Manager
FLSA Status: hourly plus bonuses. Successful branch managers total compensation is in six figure range.
Position Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the branch to success by driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role includes significatnt time developing business, building client relationships, and hitting sales metrics. The remainder involves managing branch operations and supervising a small, high-performing team.
This is a supervisory position with high visibility, impact, and earning potential.
What You’ll Do
Operations & Service Delivery (40%)
- Ensure temporary employees are recruited, dispatched, and supported with clear expectations.
- Oversee payroll, invoicing, billing adjustments, and collections.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Handle unemployment claims, workers’ compensation, and HR-related issues as needed.
- Seek ways to streamline processes for operational efficiency and service excellence.
Sales & Business Development (40%)
- Prospect, qualify, and close new client business.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships through regular visits and solution-oriented service.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Execute branch sales strategy, manage KPIs, and deliver consistent revenue results.
Leadership & Team Development (20%)
- Lead, develop, and motivate branch staff to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Train and coach employees, fostering a results-driven, supportive team culture.
- Model the HQNW core values in daily leadership and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: College degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 3 years in business, leadership, or operational management roles.
- Systems and operational operational improvement.
- Skills:
- Strong sales drive and fearless business development mindset.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Organizational and time management excellence.
- Ability to lead under pressure and drive results with accountability.
- Other Requirements:
- Clean background check.
