Join our client’s team as a Quality Control Technician and play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and process excellence. This position goes beyond standard sterile processing duties, focusing on quality assurance, compliance, and precision in handling surgical instruments.
What You’ll Do
- Decontaminate, clean, and reassemble surgical instruments following ANSI/AAMI standards and IFUs
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage before packaging
- Safely operate washers, sterilizers, and other processing equipment
- Accurately assemble and package instrument trays and sets
- Maintain records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and inventory
- Keep workstations organized and adhere to infection control procedures
- Collaborate with team members and suggest workflow improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and organized team player
- Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- CRCST certification in sterile processing required
- Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) or 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am)
