Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a quality control lab environment preferred.
- Proven ability to approve completed batches based on stringent quality specifications.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
Description:
Under general supervision, the QC Lab Tech plays a critical role in ensuring that all production materials and processes meet required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while supporting team success.
- Acknowledge, process, and maintain all quality documentation related to production.
- Review and proof documents to minimize errors.
- Label and retain production materials to ensure full traceability.
- Collaborate with leadership to verify that products meet all quality specifications.
- Perform standardized quality control tests in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Execute material additions to support accurate product formulation.
- Approve finished batches against detailed specifications.
- Support calibration and equipment verification programs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate quality control records in compliance with ISO standards.
- Keep laboratory and equipment clean, organized, and in optimal working condition.
- Actively contribute to quality investigations and troubleshooting.
- Make product adjustments as needed and utilize “Work-off” materials effectively.
- Provide support and mentorship to other technicians through coaching and troubleshooting.
- Direct and coordinate activities of the QC department staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks based on direction from the group leader or supervisor.
