Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Hopewell, VA

Pay: $28/hour

Experience: At least 2 years of maintenance experience required.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks within residential properties.
• Conduct plumbing and basic electrical repairs as needed.
• Install and repair household appliances in residential units.
• Remove and install flooring, carpets, and related materials.
• Complete apartment turnovers, including maintenance preparation for new tenants.
• Inspect units and perform routine repairs to maintain safe and functional living spaces.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance tasks.
• Ability to install and repair appliances and flooring materials.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
