Position Overview
The Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions will play a critical leadership role in building and scaling the company’s corporate development function during a transformative period of growth. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will lead the execution and evolution of the organization’s M&A strategy, helping drive expansion across existing and new markets.

Key Responsibilities
M&A Strategy & Corporate Development
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive the organization’s M&A and expansion strategy across key markets and service lines.
- Identify and assess acquisition opportunities that align with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
- Support the development and enhancement of corporate development processes, infrastructure, and acquisition frameworks to enable scalable growth.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and strategic evaluations to support investment planning and expansion initiatives.
- Assist in assessing de novo growth opportunities alongside operational leadership teams.
Deal Execution & Transaction Management
- Manage all stages of the acquisition process, including sourcing, valuation, financial analysis, due diligence, negotiation support, and execution.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle, including legal, finance, operations, clinical leadership, and third-party consultants.
- Work closely with private equity sponsors on transaction assessments, investment strategies, and financial analyses.
- Prepare investment summaries, business cases, and executive presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee multiple active transactions while maintaining strong execution standards and alignment with business priorities.
Integration & Value Creation
- Support integration planning and execution efforts for newly acquired businesses in partnership with operational leadership.
- Help implement scalable integration processes and operational best practices to support continued organizational growth.
- Partner with finance and operations teams to evaluate acquisition performance and monitor value creation initiatives.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of M&A systems, reporting capabilities, and corporate development processes.

Qualifications
- 7–15 years of experience in healthcare M&A, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or a related field.
- Significant healthcare services transaction experience required. Experience in home health, hospice, behavioral health, or post-acute care strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing transactions throughout the full M&A lifecycle, including diligence, execution, and integration support.
- Strong analytical, valuation, and financial modeling skills.
- Experience working with or within private equity-backed organizations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
