Staff Accountant – Hybrid | Accounting Financial Analysis
We’re partnering with a ventured back healthtech company on their search for a Staff Accountant. Reporting to the CFO, this is a hybrid role that combines core accounting work financial analysis. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow beyond the close process and get exposure to forecasting, dashboards, and cross-functional insights.
What You’ll Do
- Own journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts (cash, AP/AR, accruals)
- Support internal financial reporting and year-end audit prep
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and performance drivers
- Build dashboards and reports to support business teams
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
What You Bring
- 2 years of accounting experience (GL, reconciliations, reporting)
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable translating financial data into insights
