Hirematic Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of a confidential client for an experienced Lead Workday Techno-Functional Implementation Consultant. This role is ideal for a Workday expert with deep functional expertise across Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and related business processes, combined with hands-on technical experience configuring, integrating, and implementing Workday solutions. The successful candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, translating complex business requirements into scalable Workday configurations, integrations, and enterprise solutions while ensuring successful Workday implementations.

Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and implementation partners to gather, document, and analyze business requirements across Workday modules including HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Absence.
- Translate business requirements into Workday configurations, including business processes, security policies, organizational structures, and system configurations.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party applications.
- Build and support integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS).
- Develop simple, advanced, and composite Workday reports to support business operations and decision-making.
- Create and maintain complex calculated fields to support reporting requirements and business process logic.
- Execute data conversion and migration activities including data extraction, transformation, validation, cleansing, and loading from legacy systems into Workday.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, parallel testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with business users to resolve defects, validate solutions, and obtain implementation sign-off.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, technical documentation, configuration documents, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation.
- Conduct client workshops, end-user training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Provide post-production support by troubleshooting system configurations, resolving technical issues, and supporting Workday's biannual releases.
- Serve as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, IT, implementation partners, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Advise stakeholders on Workday best practices to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, including SOX and GDPR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Successfully completed at least two full-cycle enterprise Workday implementations.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and integrations with ADP.
- Experience configuring, developing, testing, and troubleshooting Workday integrations.
- Experience working across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding of enterprise HR business processes and Workday implementation methodologies.
