What You’ll Do
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography.
- Perform 2D Digital Mammography and 3D Tomosynthesis.
- Perform CC, MLO, spot compression, magnification, and additional diagnostic views.
- Review images for quality and assist radiologists with diagnostic workups.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Perform MQSA quality control and maintain ACR/FDA/NY State compliance.
- Utilize RIS/PACS and maintain accurate documentation.
What You’ll Need
- ARRT-R certification.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Meet MQSA requirements for independent mammography practice.
- Strong knowledge of mammographic positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills.
⭐ Preferred
- ARRT-M
- 1 year of mammography experience
- 3D/Tomosynthesis experience
- Hologic equipment experience
- MQSA/ACR experience
- RIS/PACS and outpatient imaging experience
