A large nonprofit acute care hospital in the Inland Empire is looking for a dedicated, hands-on Manager of Patient Financial Services to oversee billing, collections, denials, and cash flow operations. This is an important operational role reporting directly to the Director with real impact on the hospital’s financial health and revenue cycle performance. If you excel at process improvement, team supervision, and delivering strong A/R results in a California hospital environment, this could be your next great move.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day operations of key Patient Financial Services functions (hospital billing, collections, insurance follow-up, denial management, cash posting, bad debt, and patient financial counseling)
• Implement and maintain efficient, compliant revenue cycle processes that maximize reimbursement
• Collaborate closely with Patient Access/Admissions and other departments to support seamless front-to-back revenue cycle performance
• Monitor and help drive key metrics (A/R days, denial rates, cash collections) while supervising and developing a high-performing PFS team
• Ensure full compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care, and all applicable regulatory requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related — preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership/supervisory experience in hospital Patient Financial Services or Revenue Cycle
• Strong working knowledge of California payers (especially Medi-Cal and managed care)
• Proven ability to supervise teams, solve operational problems, and implement process improvements
• Comfortable with automation tools and Microsoft Office Suite
