- Proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and communicate effectively with various stakeholders (customers, vendors, etc.).
- Ability navigate multiple systems while on phone calls.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work in the office consistently 4 days per week.
- Responsible for the timely processing of insurance claims.
- Managing queues of insurance-related system tasks, answering phone calls, and handling emails and paper mail.
- Facilitate inbound and outbound calls with customers and insurance companies regarding insurance claims.
- Ensure proper claim intake, oversight, and resolution by capturing claim details on phone calls and monitoring and taking action on system tasks, emails, portals, etc.
- Perform account research to ensure accurate information is provided regarding account circumstances and program requirements.
- Monitor assigned accounts with open insurance claims to ensure proper resolution.
- Document all appropriate and relevant account information in applicable systems.
- Support outsourced insurance vendors to resolve insurance claims by performing account research and answering questions via portals, email, and phone.
