Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
- Own data acquisition, transformation, modeling, and lineage across multiple business systems.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines using SaaS ELT tools, orchestration platforms, and custom scripting.
- Partner with engineering, marketing, and business stakeholders to improve data quality, accessibility, and reliability.
- Support advanced analytics initiatives including customer segmentation, lifetime value (LTV) analysis, marketing attribution, ROI measurement, and cross-channel performance reporting.
- Help identify trends and opportunities by delivering clean, actionable datasets for business intelligence and reporting.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously improve data processes, documentation, and overall data governance.
- 4-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical role.
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying and optimizing large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language such as JavaScript, PHP, or .NET.
- Experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with modern BI and visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Sigma, or Metabase.
- Familiarity with customer analytics, marketing analytics, or retail/eCommerce data.
- Experience supporting customer segmentation, attribution modeling, or business performance analytics.
- Passion for leveraging data to drive business strategy and improve customer experiences.
- Salary Range: $90k - $120k/year
