Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Hours: 4-day workweek, 1st Shift is 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM,  A-shift is Monday – Thursday, B-shift is Tuesday – Friday.

Position Summary

A precision manufacturing organization is seeking a CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) to develop, validate, and maintain coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs and inspection methodologies. This role supports production, first article inspection, and final inspection activities to ensure product quality and compliance.

This is a first-shift position operating on a 4-day workweek schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS for new and existing components
  • Create and maintain inspection plans and methodologies based on engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Generate ballooned inspection drawings and maintain inspection templates and reporting outputs
  • Establish and optimize probing strategies, alignments, and measurement routines
  • Support integration of inspection data into quality and manufacturing systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure inspection requirements are met
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inspection records
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education

  • High school diploma or vocational/technical training

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience programming CMMs using PC-DMIS (Hexagon preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with quality management or inspection software systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments
  • Experience in precision manufacturing or aerospace environments

Work Environment & Schedule

This role operates in a manufacturing environment and involves working with inspection equipment and computer systems.

  • Schedule: 4-day workweek
  • First Shift: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Shift Options: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday
