Your Mission as our Project Coordinator/Estimator:
You will help develop our small but growing high-end residential Design/Build/Remodel firm. You will bridge design, estimating, and production. This is a growth-focused role with a clear path to Project Manager.
Some of our Project Coordinator/Estimator’s duties and responsibilities:
- Work with our Sales/Design/Project Management Team to get projects from sales, through design and onto production
- Work with Word, Excel, CRM Software and an Estimating Software System
- Create Scopes of Work
- Do material take-offs of project plans
- Source materials and get bids and quotes
- Source quotes from our Sub-Contractors for labor
- Place orders, double check orders, and check in materials when received
- Create Project Binders for hand-off to Production
- Support Designers with estimating and product sourcing
- Support Project Managers with procurement and scheduling deliveries
- Must have 2-5 years residential construction experience
- Strong understanding of Scopes (kitchens, bathrooms, additions, etc.)
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with JobTread a plus but any CRM experience is helpful
- You must love spreadsheets and working in the smallest of details
- Must be organized and extremely detail-oriented (OCD is a great trait for this position)
- Tech savvy and willing to learn new software and apps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of an estimating software a plus
- Working knowledge of Chief Architect a plus
- Sales experience a plus
- Account management and customer service experience
- Must be organized and have extreme attention to detail
- Takes pride in themselves and their work
