Trusted Structures LLC is a new construction company in Northern Virginia specializing in concrete and bridge repair scopes with a focus on DOT and municipal projects in Virginia and Pennsylvania. Our mission is simple: deliver quality, on-time performance for concrete infrastructure packages on state and federally funded projects.
What We Need
We’re looking for a construction estimator who can:
- Read plans and specs and quickly identify small concrete scopes fitting our capabilities (e.g., bridge rehab, flatwork, curbs, sidewalks).
- Build accurate estimates and competitive bids for DOT, municipal, and private work.
- Source materials and vendors, ensuring best pricing and timely delivery.
Bonus: Ability to assist with basic project coordination—helping transition from bid award to field execution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings and specifications for bid opportunities.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid proposals.
- Manage subcontractor quotes and supplier relationships.
- Support project setup after award (POs, material scheduling, basic documentation).
Preferred Experience
- 2 years in construction estimating (civil, concrete, or related scopes).
- Familiar with bridge rehabilitation techniques and site concrete work.
- Knowledge of DOT bidding portals (VDOT CABB, BidX, PennDOT ECMS) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
