Role Overview
As an Architect/Designer, you will lead projects from concept through design development. You will collaborate closely with clients, construction professionals, and internal stakeholders to ensure that architectural designs are not only creative but also align perfectly with project budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership: Develop architectural concepts, designs, and construction documentation for high-end residential and light commercial projects.
Project Oversight: Lead the design phase from initial client consultation through final approval.
Collaboration: Partner with consultants and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Client Engagement: Guide clients through material, finish, and interior design selections to enhance the functionality and beauty of their spaces.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field (Architectural licensure is preferred but not required).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience and 5 years of experience in residential and/or light commercial construction.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, and code requirements.
Software: Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills. A deadline-driven and organized approach is essential.
Preferred Experience
Background in high-end custom residential design.
Experience in design-build project delivery environments.
Skill in interior finish and material selection consultation.
Location: Oconomowoc, WI 53066 (On-site, Full-Time)
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
