Role Overview
Hire Velocity is supporting a growing, multi-state services organization in the search for a strategic, data-driven Senior Commercial Sales Executive/Manager. This leader will oversee all commercial sales activities across contractor, governmental, and service-based channels, including partnerships with retail hardware and distribution networks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial sales efforts across a broad multi-state operating footprint.
- Develop and implement scalable sales strategies
- Establish a data-driven sales organization with strong KPIs, forecasting, territory planning, and performance accountability.
- Partner closely with Marketing to support growth initiatives, campaigns, and go-to-market programs.
- Drive service-based sales with a customer-first approach, ensuring a seamless end-user experience.
- Implement and optimize Salesforce-driven sales processes, reporting, and analytics; ensure consistent CRM usage across all teams.
- Provide ongoing coaching and leadership to enhance team capabilities and reinforce a world-class sales culture.
- Deliver executive-level reporting, including pipeline updates, forecast accuracy, quota attainment, and territory performance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on pricing, margins, and service delivery.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs; translate insights into actionable sales initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven success leading commercial sales across a multi-state region; experience with contractor, government, or service-based industries preferred.
- Strong B2B and B2C service sales background within industries such as construction, remodeling, restoration, or similar verticals.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale outside field sales teams; strong coaching and development track record.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce, including implementing processes, dashboards, and reporting structures.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to convert metrics into strategic and tactical action.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience recruiting and onboarding regional sales talent and building sustainable pipelines.
- Strong collaboration experience with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to drive market penetration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
