Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Executive Director to join the leadership team at their premier preschool in Brandon, FL. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), present professionally, have a genuine passion for working with children, and hold a strong commitment to education.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Monday-Friday; year-round employment
Salary
- $85,000 - $90,000/year pending education, certifications, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations of the school, specifically focusing on educational programming, special events and activities, managing budget/finances, relationship building, quality assurance related to health & safety, and faculty onboarding, training & development
- Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the school for the future
- Develop strong relationships with our families
- Comply with state childcare licensing regulations
- Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to serve in various roles as needed
- Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or an education-related field
- REQUIRED Credential: Valid Florida Director Credential Level 2 with VPK endorsement
- REQUIRED Leadership Experience: At least 5-years of continuous experience as a Director in a licensed childcare center or preschool with at least 20 staff members and at least 100 enrolled students
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
