What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multimedia Designer (Brand & Digital Design) position at Hire Technology?

HIRE Technology is seeking an exceptionally talented Multimedia Designer to join our Client's Brand Commercialization team. This role is responsible for developing high-quality visual communications that educate, engage, and strengthen our Client s brand portfolio.

We are looking for a designer who possesses exceptional visual design skills, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding communication. The ideal candidate has formal design education, understands typography and visual hierarchy, and produces polished, production-ready work with minimal supervision.

 

This position is 100% On-site. Greater Houston area candidates only please.

Applications must include a portfolio.

Candidates should expect to complete the assessment using Adobe Creative Cloud within a specified time frame.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design & Brand Development (70%)

  • Design brochures, one-pagers, flyers, banners, catalogs, presentations, sales collateral, and other print and digital marketing materials.
  • Develop logos, brand identities, icons, infographics, illustrations, and promotional graphics.
  • Create layouts that demonstrate excellent typography, spacing, hierarchy, and composition.
  • Perform advanced photo editing, retouching, masking, compositing, and color correction.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for both digital and print applications.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Client s brand guidelines across all deliverables.
  • Review all work thoroughly before submission to ensure accuracy and quality.

Digital Design & UI/UX (20%)

  • Design landing pages, website layouts, email graphics, and digital campaigns.
  • Create wireframes and UI mockups using Figma or Adobe XD.
  • Design responsive digital assets optimized for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Apply UX best practices to improve usability and user experience.

Video Editing & Motion Graphics (10%)

  • Edit educational and product awareness videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Create basic animations and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects.
  • Perform color correction, audio cleanup, and final video exports.
  • Assist with storyboarding and production when required.

Collaboration

  • Partner with Brand Commercialization, Brand Governance, Merchandising Business Centers, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into compelling visual communications.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Present concepts and incorporate feedback professionally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication Design, Print & Media Design, Multimedia Design or another closely related design discipline
  • 3 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • Experience designing both print and digital marketing materials.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, typography, layout, print design, digital design, and photo editing.
  • Corporate or B2B marketing experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Figma, Adobe XD, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel

AI & Modern Design Workflow

Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency while maintaining creative quality.

Examples include: ChatGPT, Gemini, Elevenlabs, Hailuo.ai, Video Generation AI Model, AI-powered photo editing and content generation tools

  • Produces files with minimal spelling, formatting, or production errors.
  • Maintains consistent spacing, alignment, typography, and branding.

Strong Communication

  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with stakeholders.

Design Excellence

  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, composition, and branding.
  • High level of craftsmanship and visual polish.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual communication.

Professional Mindset

  • Positive attitude and collaborative approach.
  • Open to constructive feedback.
  • Patient and professional through multiple rounds of revisions.
  • Eager to learn new tools, technologies, and design trends.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Experience:
Experience designing: Brand identity systems, Logos, Corporate presentations, Product marketing materials, Trade show graphics, Brochures, Flyers, Posters, Banners, Product catalogs, Packaging, Web layouts, UI/UX interfaces, and Training videos.

Portfolio Requirements:
Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing:

  • Motion graphics or video editing
