Location: Trenton, NJ (Preference for local candidates to the Trenton, NJ region to work hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote. )Duration: 12 months plus.Work arrangement: Hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days remote.)Interviews: Webcam Only.JOB DESCRIPTION:The Business Analyst serves as a business analyst for projects involving critical data processing systems for the New Jersey Judiciary. BA should expect to be involved with testing and work on the Helpdesk.Excellent communication is Required as well as Excellent Customer Service Skills.Note: Hybrid position; 2 days in-office (Tuesday & Thursday), 3 days remoteRequired Skills- Experience in IT or related field. Required. 5 yrs. (6-8 yrs. highly preferred for relevant experience.)- Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent study under the direction of the supervisor of the business analyst team or designated project leader. Required. 4 yrs.- Certification: Successful completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. (Proof of certification must accompany application.) - Must have excellent written, verbal communication and customer service skills. Required.- Experience with developing systems via a structured SDLC methodology. Required. 5 yrs.- Strong skills in Microsoft Visio. Required. 5 yrs.- Experience with testing, training, and user support. Required. 5 yrs.- Experience with UI design. Required. 5 yrs.- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes and workflows and propose areas for improvement. Required. 5 yrs.- Ability to gather data via diverse means (i.e. interviews, observation, surveys, existing written documentation) and interpret relevant information. Required. 5 yrs.- Ability to document storyboards, screen mockups, wireframes, system flows, interfaces, use cases, and business rules. Required. 5 yrs.- Work experience as a Project Manager-Associate; Quality Assurance Senior Analyst; Business Analyst-Intermediate; Quality Assurance Analyst may substitute for all of the required experience. Required. 2 yrs.- Customer Service / Help Desk. Required. 3 yrs.- 5 years of relevant experience; 5 plus years in particular application area.
