Are you tired of being stuck behind a desk or looking for a way to take your hands-on construction experience into a lucrative new direction? We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative who knows their way around a job site and can talk to contractors and utility crews on their own level.
In this role, you won't be pitching abstract corporate software. You’ll be supplying the heavy-duty water infrastructure—pipe, valves, fittings, hydrants, water meters, and drainage products—that keeps our municipal water systems running. Your "office" will be the front seat of your truck, local contractor trailers, and municipal utility yards throughout the Portland metro area. If you know the difference between C900 PVC and Class 52 Ductile Iron, can read a basic blueprint, and prefer building real relationships over making cold corporate presentations, we want to talk to you.

Qualifications include:
- 5 years of sales, estimating, or project management experience related to water infrastructure, underground utilities, municipal construction, industrial distribution, or a closely related industry.
- Proven ability to build long-term customer relationships, grow existing accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, construction plans, project specifications, and material take-offs is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with products such as PVC, HDPE, ductile iron pipe, valves, hydrants, fittings, pumps, water meters, irrigation systems, drainage products, or related infrastructure materials.
- Competitive drive with a proven track record of sales success and excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
