Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review general ledger journal entries across multiple entities
- Maintain workpaper schedules for depreciation and amortization, prepaid expenses, & accruals
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Play an integral role in the month-end close process
- Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Assist Controller and Director of FP&A with financial reporting
- Assist with invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management
- Prepare reporting needed for tax filings and support payroll tax compliance
- Prepare audit schedules and support the audit process
- Support M&A accounting, including due diligence and post-close integration
- Assist with special projects as needed
Background:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting
- 3 years progressive experience in a staff accountant role
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- CPA candidate a plus, but not required
- Corporate accounting experience a plus
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for maintaining financial's, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close across the company's multiple entities. Often provides exposure to system migration, fund accounting, and M&A support, offering technical experience beyond day-to-day close activities.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
