Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Pooler, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Shifts Available: $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift $3 for weekend shift
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM $1.50 shift differential
- Weekend Shift: shift is Fri - Sun 6am -6pm. There will be a $3.00 shift differential for this shift.
Pay: $23 per hour with 90 Day pay increase review

Position Purpose
The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC equipment to produce high‐quality parts according to engineering specifications, safety standards, and production requirements.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi‐axis equipment) with minimal supervision.
- Load and unload raw materials, select proper tooling, and run required machine programs.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production schedules to ensure accurate part production.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify conformance to specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Identify and correct safety issues before beginning operations.
- Prioritize production runs to meet deadlines and maximize machine uptime.
- Maintain clean work areas, tooling, and equipment.
- Troubleshoot quality issues, mechanical problems, and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Prepare materials and ensure proper setup for each job.
- Apply problem‐solving techniques to reduce defects and improve production quality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
- One year of CNC machine operating experience
- Ability to pass pre‐employment screenings (drug test, background check, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing
- Two years of CNC operating experience
- One year of fabrication or machining experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
- Detail‐oriented with the ability to multitask under time constraints
- Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs
- Ability to operate CNC machines, bending presses, lasers, and hand tools
- Must wear required PPE
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and dust
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, reach, handle materials, and communicate effectively
- Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12‐hour shifts and weekends
- Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 35 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Perform repetitive motions, fine motor tasks, and large physical movements
- Ability to grasp/pinch small items, reach overhead, and rotate wrists
- Maintain pace with production speed
- Push/pull materials with reasonable force
- Bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Work in hot, cold, or dusty environments
