What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Attorney for AM 200 Law Firm: Serious Temp to Perm Potential position at Hire Counsel?
We are working with an AM 200 law firm seeking a contracts attorney to assist with drafting terms and engagement letters for its corporate and securities practice, onsite, in its Palo Alto, California office. The selected attorney will be a mid to senior level associate with emerging growth and venture capital experience. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment and possess strong teamwork skills. The assignment, to begin with a six-month expectation, will be indefinite for a high performing candidate. It has the potential to evolve to a full-time, permanent role, possibly expanding beyond engagement letter work.
The work will support the Chair of the firm’s Northern California Corporate and Securities practice, who serves as a strategic counselor to some of the most innovative life sciences and technology companies, guiding next-generation enterprises across the full corporate life cycle, from the seed stage through venture financings, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital markets transactions. He has led hundreds of financings for high-growth companies at the forefront of biotechnology, AI, therapeutics, pharmaceuticals, climate tech, digital health, medical technology, cybersecurity, and software.
The compensation rate for the work will be $120/hr.
