Summary: The Senior HR Generalist manages comprehensive human resources operations, acting as a strategic partner to leadership while handling employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, time keeping systems, company employee events and performance management. They oversee the employee lifecycle, enforce company policies, requiring 5 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities/Activities:
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Resolve complex employee issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruitment, develop hiring strategies, and manage onboarding for new hires.
- Performance & Talent Management Partner with managers to guide, career development, and succession planning.
- HR Operations & Policy: Administer benefits, update employee records in isolved, and develop company policies.
- Strategic Support: Advise management on HR trends, organizational design, and company culture initiatives.
- Company Events (Employee): Manage all company events for employees.
- Lead annual company employee review process: Manage and execute the company annual review process.
- Manage company benefit selections and lead open enrollment process: Work with outside Payroll companies and brokers (MassPay & One Digital) to select best plans for the company.
- Manage EEO and Affirmative Action reporting process. Work with outside partners, HR limited to complete the EEO and Affirmative Action reports for annual submission.
- Manage HR systems: Manage all HR systems, including time keeping and PTO tracking system (isolved).
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Generally, 5 years of HR experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and isolved systems.
- Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
