What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at HIPER Global US?
Summary: The Quality Engineer will take a lead role in administering, maintaining, and improving HIPER Global US quality systems. Develop, coordinate, and facilitate the implementation of quality improvement efforts. Ensure that the quality of systems produced meets all customer expectations; quickly and effectively take action should a non-conformance be found.
Job Responsibilities/Activities:
- Develop/implement/improve manufacturing process quality plans
- Create process documentation for AS9100 and ISO 9001 applications
- Review/disposition of non-conformances and facilitate root cause review/assignment
- Monitor Process quality metrics and initiate improvement plans
- Implement corrective actions and monitor effectiveness of actions implemented
- Monitor process capabilities and raise issues for awareness
- Interface with suppliers to develop/troubleshoot special process issues
- Review and help implement supplier corrective actions (SCARS)
- Monitor/develop plans to alleviate MRB issues
- Present process metrics utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to the Quality Manager
- Develop/Maintain knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
- Develop and train customer/part specific procedures for quality, technical, and operational staff
- Provide quality leadership to team members
- Other duties as assigned by a manager
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3-5 years quality engineering experience preferably in AS9100 and ISO 9001 environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Internal Auditing skill set
- Process development skills
- Multi-tasking
- Work well with personnel at all levels
- Focus on current issues regarding operations, production, and quality
- Consensus Team building
- Self-motivated
- Able to work with aggressive timelines
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
